"We were born with our eyes wide open"  *

I paint for my living.  Color and design are almost all I think about.  The connectedness of life, archetypal symbols, the patterns of nature, the hopefulness and viridity of spring...these things inspire me to paint and see the world as I do.  Recently I have been painting abstracted wet sand patterns reminiscent of a special place in South Carolina where a tidal creek meets the Port Royal Sound.

I have been painting and designing my entire life...Some of my work is available for licensing and/or reproduction for commercial spaces. If you have a commission idea of any size please contact me.  I have installed canvases around interior beams, as murals and suspended as room dividers.  The beauty of the way I work on loose canvas lends itself to many applications.
